Being a fan of Senses Fail for some time now, I've come to love everything they have to offer. With their newest album that came out near the end of last year, it's safe to say I'm still not worn out. Granted, "The Fire" doesn't expend on Senses Fail's sound any - it just highlights why they're already successful. From the opening, album-titled track, you hear an excellent blend of sounds (aggressive guitar, chanting vocals) with rather haunting lyrics to accompany - "It's ok to feel lost, it just means you're alive." Throughout the album, you really feel like there's a fire. It's exciting, it's hot and it makes you want to play/sing/scream along with everything you've got. And then the final song "Hold On" catches you and leaves you with a nice little paradox to "hold on and let go". So, if you're a returning fan or just want to give them a try, I highly recommend this album to you. Go ahead, I promise your senses will do anything but fail you.
